Adult Dog
-
Adult dogs are remarkably adaptable and quickly settle into our routines, making them a wonderful addition to our daycare. With our small group sizes, we’re able to observe each dog closely and provide personalized care that suits their unique needs and temperament.
This approach ensures a comfortable, stress-free environment where your dog can thrive. From engaging socialization opportunities to structured activities like daily walks on Hampstead Heath, we create a balanced, nurturing space that feels like a home away from home.
Here’s why daycare can make a difference for adult dogs:
Social Interaction: Adult dogs thrive on companionship. Daycare gives them the chance to interact with other dogs and humans, preventing feelings of isolation and loneliness, especially for dogs who spend long hours at home.
Physical Exercise: Regular activity is crucial for maintaining a healthy weight, strong muscles, and good cardiovascular health. Daycare offers structured play and exercise to keep adult dogs active and healthy.
Mental Stimulation: Adult dogs need mental challenges to stay sharp and prevent boredom. Engaging activities, new environments, and interactions with other dogs keep their minds active and prevent destructive behaviors.
Routine and Structure: Daycare helps reinforce routines, which adult dogs find comforting. It gives them a predictable environment with structured play, rest, and interaction, contributing to a balanced lifestyle.
Tailored Care: For adult dogs with unique needs, small daycare settings allow for personalized attention. Staff can monitor their behavior, health, and preferences, ensuring they receive the care and activity level suited to them.
Stress Relief: Many adult dogs experience separation anxiety or stress when left alone. Daycare provides a safe, engaging space where they can relax, play, and feel secure in your absence.
By choosing daycare for your adult dog, you’re ensuring they stay physically, mentally, and emotionally fulfilled, enhancing their happiness and overall quality of life.

Puppies
-
Our daycare is tailored to meet your puppy’s unique needs. We offer short, age-appropriate walks, personalized potty training, basic training, and stimulating play to support their growth and development. With balanced play and rest times, plus lunch included or catered to their diet, we ensure your pup stays happy and healthy
Daycare is especially important for puppies as it plays a vital role in their development and well-being. During their early stages of life, puppies are like sponges, soaking up experiences that shape their behaviour and confidence.
Socialization: Puppies get to interact with other dogs and people in a safe, supervised environment. This helps them learn essential social skills, reducing the risk of fear or aggression as they grow.
Exercise and Play: Puppies have boundless energy, and daycare offers a safe outlet for them to play, explore, and burn off energy in a healthy way. This leads to a calmer, happier pup at home.
Routine and Structure: Daycare introduces puppies to a consistent routine, helping them adapt to schedules, practice good manners, and build confidence in different settings.
Mental Stimulation: Engaging activities and interactions keep puppies mentally active, preventing boredom and destructive behavior.
Care and Supervision: Puppies require constant attention, and daycare ensures they are always monitored by trained professionals who understand their needs, from playtime to rest periods.
Investing in daycare early in a puppy’s life helps them grow into well-rounded, sociable, and happy adult dogs, giving you peace of mind while your pup thrives.

Sniffles Daycare: The Inside Scoop
-
We would like to begin by explaining our ethos and how daycare works within our establishment.
Our services exist because modern daily life and work commitments often prevent owners from being around enough to fully meet their pets’ needs. While we support your schedule, our main focus is always fulfilling your dog’s emotional and social needs.
From our experience, dogs benefit greatly from socialising with other dogs. When dogs spend most of their time with humans, they can begin to mirror human behaviours, which may lead to unwanted habits at home. Daycare allows them to behave naturally in a safe environment, improving their overall quality of life.
Unlike some establishments, our daycare groups are small, with a maximum of six dogs per day. This creates a calmer environment for both shy and playful dogs and allows our team to give individual attention, helping strong bonds form with both dogs and staff.
Dogs thrive on routine and quickly learn to anticipate their day. New dogs may need a few sessions to settle, while shy dogs or those with separation anxiety may benefit from shorter initial sessions of 1–2 hours, gradually increasing over time.
We run two routines: one for adult dogs and one for puppies.
Adult dogs adapt quickly. We observe each dog individually, take them out as needed based on their toilet patterns, and provide a daily group walk in the park for exercise and play.
Puppy routines are more structured and adjusted by age. Young puppies are taken on shorter walks (15–20 minutes), with duration increasing as they grow. Owners may set walk lengths if preferred. We support potty training by taking puppies out frequently, gradually extending intervals as their bladder control improves. Puppies also have regular nap breaks after play to avoid overstimulation. Lunch is provided unless special dietary requirements apply, in which case owners should supply food.
-
Before starting daycare, we ask all dogs to attend an initial trial session of up to four hours (free of charge). This gives us the opportunity to gently assess your dog’s suitability for our environment, observe their behaviour, and see how they interact with the pack. Most importantly, it allows us to make sure your dog feels comfortable and happy in our care. While this assessment mainly applies to adult dogs, puppies are also required to attend a trial session as part of their introduction.
We require a copy of your dog’s up-to-date vaccination records before daycare begins. This must include the kennel cough vaccine, which is not routinely administered unless specifically requested from your vet.
For the wellbeing of all dogs in our care, we ask that dogs are neutered or spayed as soon as your vet considers it appropriate. Dogs may attend without sterilisation up to one year of age.
All agreements and dog & owner information forms must be completed and signed prior to officially starting daycare.
While your dog is attending daycare, we need to hold a set of your house keys. In the unlikely event that a dog shows signs of a contagious illness, we may need to return them home promptly to protect the rest of the group, as we do not have on-site isolation facilities.
These requirements help us maintain a safe, healthy, and well-managed daycare environment, and are part of the standards set by our local authority licensing..

To help us plan our daycare environment and maintain stable, happy groups, we offer both ad-hoc and regular booking options.
For ad-hoc bookings, payment is kindly requested in advance at the time of confirmation. Once booked, these sessions are non-refundable, as we reserve that space specifically for your dog. Availability can vary, so we always recommend booking early where possible. While we do our best to accommodate requests, spaces cannot be guaranteed.
For clients who prefer regular set days, we reserve those slots exclusively for your dog for the remainder of the year. Consistent attendance helps us maintain routine and balance within our small daycare groups. If your dog will be away, for example during holidays, and you would like to keep your reserved space, payment is still required to hold it. If you would rather not do so, switching to ad-hoc bookings during that period may be a better option. Should you decide to stop regular services, we simply ask for one month’s notice so we can plan accordingly.
To keep everything straightforward, regular bookings are invoiced in advance. On the first day of each month, you’ll receive an invoice covering that month’s scheduled services, with any additional services added to the following invoice.
